This process is only applicable when billing from SOAP notes.

Navigate to billing tab in any of the notes. In this article, we will be using Condensed daily note.

For this article lets consider patient Medicare amount=$1000.00 and expected amount as per below screenshot.

Time was entered in 3 separate notes and the bill was finalized. Refer below for the sequence.When the note having 97002 was finalized the "kx" modifier got billed automatically as the total expected amount has crossed medicare amount.

When insurance bill is generated "kx" modifier gets billed.
