How can I generate a customized ICD report with injury descriptions?

This guide outlines how to use the ICD File section to generate reports tailored to specific criteria, such as codes, injury types, or descriptions. The report provides a comprehensive overview of relevant details, including code numbers, descriptions, injury areas, and additional data, depending on the input.

Steps to Follow: 

Step 1: Login to the Application

  • Enter your credentials to access the application.

Step 2: Navigate to the ICD File Section

  • Go to the File menu.
  • Select Information File, then click on ICD File Section.

Step 3: Sort Options

  • Choose a sort option from the following:
    • Code
    • Injury Type
    • Description

Step 4: Enter Description

  • Locate the Enter Description field.
  • Type in the required description to generate the report.

Step 5: Generate Report

  • Click on the Review Results button to generate the report.
  • The report will display:
    • Code Number
    • Added Description (based on your input)
    • Injury Area
    • Additional Details (if provided).

Step 6: Manage the Report

  • Download the Report: Click on the Download PDF option.
  • Send via Email: Use the Email Report option.
  • Generate Fax: Select the Fax Report option.

Step 7: Print the Report

  • Print the Report: Click on the Print Report button to print the report directly.

Step 8: Clear and Regenerate the Report

  • To reset the options, click on the Clear button.
  • Re-select the desired sort and description options to regenerate a new report.
