Navigate to Transaction >> Credit transaction >> Paid by patient.
Select Posting type as "Line Item" or "Date Range" and Bill reminder to as "Patient only".
Post payment against charges and then click "Submit" to save.
After saving navigate to Transactions >> Patient transactions. View the charges against which payment/adjustment was done. You will notice the patient amount has got updated.
The same process can be followed while doing insurance payment, patient/insurance write-off, and facility adjustment.
