How can a user configure whether to create or not to create an appointment for a discharged patient

Navigate to> Setting> Account Setup:

Check the "Create appointment for discharge patient:" check box:

Now an appointment can be created for a discharged patient successfully:

If in case the check box is unchecked in account setup then the system would not allow to create an appointment for discharge patient.

An alert message will be displayed stating that an appointment cannot be created for a discharged patient:
